Camera Configuration

The SubCam is mounted on the central crossbar of a galvanised steel pipe 'Microlander' frame. Camera tilt, field of view, seabed slant range and reach are configured before deployment. The example below shows a typical near-shore configuration at -15° tilt with 2 m water visibility.

SubCam cameras give a Field of View of 100° horizontally and 60° vertically.

The image below shows the central focus and projected field of view onto the seabed relative to the visibility range.
